A cold winter morning
Anticipation of welcoming cherish
One that will bring me home,
where brick and flame mesh as one
A familiar warmth
Clutching what's left,
while I fear the empty night sky
For which it wails for company
I submit myself to the unfamiliar blood
A blood that sees no need for warmth
The familiar frigid winter returns
A creaking wooden floor,
filled with eyes I wish could convey love
Side by side, yet nothing
My heart turned to stone
Only by a fading window's view,
can I feel your warmth again.

Lament
04:06
|
|

The morning rays
no longer give me your warmth
We beckoned for your embrace
but our mourning has not reached you
Oh Seraph, won’t you cleanse me
by those purifying flames
I once called retribution
I cannot understand
the runes carried by your servant
A beacon upon a cowering child
Your imprinted message of indifference,
mourning under God's red sky,
decaying under His watch
My pitiful calls end with lament for you
If only
If only your touch reached me
The stinging rain
quietly falls over lifeless ground,
washing away my regrets
The sun set for you
but time still dies here
I call for your embrace;
your return to your original form.

Unspoken

My God's hands rise above me
and show me birth
Bastardized spirit;
Death brings disdain for the fading of nature
A blood clot upon the wicked tongue of our so-called savior
My unresolved solace
My cries for you,
for the evil which suffocates my being
For those of this Earth,
my apologies; for I watch you suffer
while my own takes you upon your throat
Indifference
I weep
Indifference of life
I weep
Access your God's inflicted wounds
My retribution for these vile tongues
I cry
Impurity upon you
Eroded innocence
by the false perception of strength
Life stripped of its love
Hate imprinted upon you
Oh Seraph,
I lie here
I weep.

My love
My heart
Love,
where love once was
Woe to me, mother
Etched into me
once your own, now fallen to ash
Woe to me, father;
withered beyond any grace
Bestowed to you,
a soiled image;
a curse upon the Earth
above my birthplace, with drooping wings
I will never save you,
for while a torn heart cries
I will one day find you, my love,
bathed in light
My love will fade
from cold weak hands
With drooping wings, I will never part,
for while I search for your awaiting arms
that I will never find
Our youth seemed endless
Now I lie here,
your cold weak hands upon me
A loss of life
A faded love, bathed upon your light
Bathed upon light,
faded love.
